Cracked open a couple of big boxes i had at the crib. Turns out there was a huge stash of cds and tapes i had forgotten about. Time to get my archive on. Been organizing all my digital music folders like a maniac. I feel like im back at the Preservation Dept at Columbia. I used to archive old Slavic serials for a project sponsored by a National Endowment for the Humanities. Archival work can be pretty tiresome but there is a great feeling of satisfaction once everything is properly organized and accessible by a click of the mouse. My neighbor teased me by comparing my meticulous file system and my mountainous desk region.
