the Ladytron Show at 8pm was actually The Faint at 8pm. Ate at The Smiths at 8pm. :)
man, what a chicken pot pie! i expected the usual little bowl with a flakey puff on top, but it came out in a frying pan shape plate mmm mmm mmmmmm no flakey top, but more chewy and dense. deeeelicious.

Ladytron started at 10pm. thanks to etix for switching me to will call when i lost my hard copy tickets the day of the show! the show was on the main floor at Webster Hall. the sound was like my boys dodge omni back in high school. all he had was bass; any vocal was simply impossible to understand. thumbs down. i was disappointed since i had seen them perform last year in the same exact venue/room for a totally different experience. CSS had opened up for them and the sound and vibe were both great. oh well,

off to Label Lounge to check out FTL spinning HipHop and 80s.
Chilled for a while and then crept around the fat baby, libation, arlene's grocery, piano area. i just couldnt bring myself to actually go inside any of them, but the weather was good so a walk around the ole stompin grounds was good.

Saturday morning meeting with Ken Swift regarding the Methods sponsorship of BreakLife @ the Breakin Convention in the UK.

Next stop home-made bloody marys and we're off to Dizmology's ARMOR release/exhibit. The show featured one-of-a-kind cut n sew pieces as well as t shirts and multi-medium artwork. Diz has long been part of the Methods fam and its always great to see his new solo projects. check out his site www.dizmology.com for more on his other works.

Although i started the day with chicken n waffles and a side of chili colorado, that didnt stop the mission to Mama's after the ARMOR show. Fried chicken, mashed potato, and garlic broccoli ended the manhattan portion of this episode. back to greenpoint for more bloody marys and a group viewing of Hostel. haha.

Never made it to Studio B, but Rusko seems to be the new rockstar on the electronic music scene, strumming basslines on his dubstep guitar ( im not joking ). Other dubstep djs need to step it up !
