Boardwalk Empire

A pilot for a new potential series on HBO is being filmed in my neighborhood. They are constructing a set to mimic Atlantic city in the 1920's. Scorcese is a co-producer on the project and is rumored to be directing the pilot episode.

Characters like Al Capone and Lucky Luciano pepper the script and will bring organized crime back to the HBO lineup. Everyone loves a good mob story.

Historical reference is drawn from the book of the same title, "Boardwalk Empire", but the script will have a life of its own and will definitely be taking artistic license in portrayal of events.
