WEEK IN REVIEW

wow. what a week. konkrete jungle was damn good. shouts to everyone that supported the lineup: Trigon ripped it up and got the crowd ready for the ODI & VANDAL tagteam ( which has been SIZZLING HOT in 2008)!

Wednesday marked an untimely death due to a botched robbery. Our condolensces to the family and friends. The memoriam party on Friday at Europa was an effort to bring friends of Jess together and raise some loot for her 4year old son. Jeru the Damaja, Odi & Vandal, Psycho Les, and Billy Belmont on the decks for this one.

Saturday at Knitting Factory was a celebration of 14years and running for Konkrete Jungle NYC, America's longest running Drum N Bass event. One question comes to mind:
why were there no dnb/jungle sets on the lineup???
apparently because after R.A.W.'s dubstep set, DJ ODI came on for an unscheduled treat: surprise old skool jungle set! The energy defined the reason for the survival of this Monday night mainstay. BIGUP!
