Havoc album

As usual, the beats are ridiculous, but you cant help but expect Prodigy to come on for every second verse. The two are at their best when they're together. Overall id have to say i dig about half the songs on the album. A little disappointed.

Aesthetics of Olympic Ceremony Ignored

What is up with all the commercial breaks during the opening ceremony of the Olympics????

That just makes no sense to me at all. China puts on its most elaborate performance piece in history to set the tone of this international competition...
and the United States broadcast networks break any semblance of aesthetic resonance in order to peddle products. Why couldnt they let the performance run straight through and then go back to commercial breaks between events or countries? I find this choice of editing very jarring and, quite frankly, disrespectful to the thousands of people that contributed to the opening ceremony performance.

Went to Love on Friday for old skool night hosted by Secret Night of Science. DB and Dara were playing when i got there. good tunes (test2,etc). Odi played a memorable set (mixes like dubplate pressure with original nutta). Stress came on next and dropped a bunch of nice goodies that i rarely hear anymore. good night. lots of tequila. :)
